Terms & Conditions
Effective date: [TO BE CONFIRMED: effective date — set this to the date of legal review]
These terms cover two things: using websora.online, and working with Websora on a project.
They are written in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.
The Short Version
This is a summary. The sections below are the full terms, and nothing here is intended to contradict them.
- You are welcome to read this website. Please do not misuse it or try to break it.
- Sending an enquiry does not create a contract. A project starts only when we have both agreed to a written proposal.
- That proposal sets out the scope, price and timeline for your specific project. Where it differs from this page, the proposal wins.
- We will tell you clearly what we are doing and what it costs before we start.
- If something goes wrong, talk to us first — email hello@websora.online and we will try to put it right.
Who These Terms Are Between
These terms are between you and Websora, a website development business operating from India[TO BE CONFIRMED: business address, or at least city and state].
Websora is [TO BE CONFIRMED: registered business name and entity type, or a statement that it is not a registered entity].
Where these terms say "you", that means either a visitor to this website or a client we are working with, depending on the section.
How we handle personal information is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.
Using This Website
You may read this website and send us an enquiry. In return, we ask that you do not:
- Attempt to gain access to any part of the site or its systems that is not intended to be public.
- Submit the enquiry form automatically, in bulk, or in a way designed to disrupt it.
- Send content through the form that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes someone else's rights.
- Copy substantial parts of this website's design, text or code for use elsewhere.
We may block access to the website or the enquiry form if it is being misused. We do this to keep the site working for everyone, not to be difficult.
This website is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate, available and secure, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
What We Provide
Websora designs and builds websites for businesses. Depending on what you need, that may include new websites, landing pages, redesigns of existing sites, and ongoing support after launch.
Anything described on this website is a description of the kind of work we do, not an offer or a fixed package. What we will actually do for you is set out in your proposal.
How Projects Work
Sending an enquiry, or having a Discovery Call, does not create a contract and does not commit either of us to anything.
A project begins when we have both agreed in writing to a proposal. That proposal will set out:
- What we are going to build, and what is not included.
- What it costs and when payment is due.
- What we need from you, and by when.
- The expected timeline.
If anything in your proposal differs from this page, the proposal applies. These terms fill in whatever the proposal does not cover.
Your Responsibilities
Most delays on a website project come from missing information rather than missing work. To keep things moving, you agree to:
- Give us the content, images, logos and access we need, in a usable form.
- Respond to questions and requests for approval within a reasonable time.
- Make sure you have the right to use anything you send us — text, images, fonts, logos or data.
- Give us one point of contact who can make decisions on your behalf.
If we are held up waiting for something from you, timelines move accordingly. We will tell you when that happens rather than letting a deadline pass quietly.
Fees and Payment
Prices are agreed per project and set out in your proposal. We do not publish rate cards, because the right scope depends on the business.
- Payment schedule
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: payment structure — for example a deposit before work begins and the balance on completion, or staged payments]
- Payment terms
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: how long a client has to pay an invoice, e.g. within 14 days of the invoice date]
- Late payment
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: what happens if an invoice is not paid on time — whether work pauses, and whether interest or a late fee applies]
- Taxes
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: whether quoted prices include or exclude GST, and the GST registration position]
- Third-party costs
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: how domains, hosting, fonts, plugins and similar costs are handled — billed at cost, marked up, or paid directly by the client]
Timelines, Revisions and Scope
Timelines in a proposal are estimates made in good faith, based on the scope we agreed and on receiving what we need from you on time.
Feedback and revisions are a normal part of the work, and your proposal will say what is included.
- Revisions included
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: how revisions are handled — for example a number of rounds per stage, or an hours-based allowance]
- Changes to scope
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: how new requests outside the agreed scope are quoted and approved before work continues]
- Paused or inactive projects
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: what happens if a project goes quiet — for example how long before it is treated as paused, and any cost to restart]
Intellectual Property
You keep ownership of everything you give us: your brand, your logos, your content, your data. Nothing here changes that.
- Ownership of the finished website
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: what the client owns on completion, and whether ownership transfers on final payment or on delivery]
- Our underlying tools and methods
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: whether Websora retains rights in reusable components, boilerplate and internal tooling used across projects]
- Showing the work
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: whether Websora may display completed work in a portfolio or case study, and whether the client can decline]
Third-Party Services
Most websites depend on services we do not control — hosting, domain registration, email delivery, fonts, and similar. Where a project needs them, we will tell you before we commit you to anything.
Those services have their own terms and their own pricing, and their availability is their responsibility rather than ours. Where an account is in your name, you control it and can move it elsewhere at any time.
Confidentiality
Working on a website usually means seeing things a business would not publish: plans, numbers, customer information, internal documents.
We treat anything you share in confidence as confidential. We will not pass it to anyone else, and we will not use it for anything other than your project, unless you agree or the law requires it.
We ask the same of you regarding anything we share about how we work.
Warranties and Limits of Responsibility
We will carry out our work with reasonable skill and care, and we will build to the scope we agreed.
There are limits to what any web developer can promise. We cannot guarantee search rankings, traffic, sales, or the behaviour of services we do not run.
- Correcting faults after launch
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: whether a defect period applies after launch, how long it lasts, and what it covers]
- Limitation of liability
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: the cap on liability and the categories of loss excluded — this clause must be drafted by a qualified professional and must not be copied from another website]
- Things outside our control
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: how outages, third-party failures and other events beyond either party's control are treated]
Ending a Project
Either of us can decide a project should not continue. If that happens, we would rather it end clearly than drift.
- Notice
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: how much written notice either party must give to end a project]
- What is payable
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: how work completed up to the end date is invoiced, and whether any deposit is refundable]
- What you receive
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: what is handed over when a project ends early — for example completed files and access, and in what state]
We may stop work if we are asked to do something unlawful, or if an agreed payment is significantly overdue. We will always raise the problem with you before taking that step.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the business changes. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
A change to this page does not change the terms of a project already underway. The version that applied when we agreed your proposal continues to apply to that project.
Governing Law
- Governing law
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: which law governs these terms — expected to be the laws of India, to be confirmed]
- Jurisdiction
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: which courts have jurisdiction — usually the city where the business is based]
- Resolving disagreements
- [TO BE CONFIRMED: whether any step is required before formal proceedings, such as discussion or mediation]
Before any of that, please talk to us. Nearly everything is easier to fix in a conversation.
